Help to feed children

Many people still think of SNAP as food stamps. SNAP does meet the same needs. It provides low-income households with extra money to buy food. Families receive an EBT card that looks and works like a debit card.

Applications are reviewed and approved through the Department of Social Services office in the county where the family lives.
