Helping children feel ready for their first day of kindergarten

Countdown to Kindergarten supports strong school transitions by connecting children entering kindergarten, families, and teachers in a series of one-on-one visits during the summer. 

This free program helps children and parents understand what happens at kindergarten and how to be ready for the changes that going to kindergarten every day will bring to the family. It’s also designed to help children feel comfortable about this new experience.
